Visiting the Río Tinto and following its route feels like traveling to Mars without leaving Earth. This area in the province of Huelva is full of colors, textures, and landscapes that seem out of this world. The river itself has a strikingly deep red color that leaves no one indifferent.
The uniqueness of this natural environment shaped the visual concept of the campaign commissioned by the Huelva Provincial Council. The brief called for a campaign to raise awareness of this little-known location and encourage people to explore the Río Tinto Natural Route throughout the year.
Special and Spatial
“An Inter-Special Journey” — that’s how we defined the close relationship between this earthly route and its otherworldly landscapes. From this concept, we developed the entire visual system of the campaign.
We used geometric lines and shapes to represent paths, planetary forms, and even asteroids — all surrounded by expressive typography and a vivid color palette, supported by stunning photographs of the area provided by the client.
Beyond
For this project, we designed posters (for both online and print media), social media content, and a campaign video, which can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/823149394?share=copy.
Every piece we created follows the same trajectory: to showcase a natural landscape that truly feels like it comes from beyond.
